Sefton Chamber Of Commerce Partners With CommsQuote

Sefton Chamber of Commerce has joined CommsQuote.com to promote cheaper credit card processing with Elavon Merhant Services. New members to the Chamber will now benefit with reduced processing rates. Elavon, a payments provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of US Bancorp, and Spanish bank holding company Banco Santander have launched a new alliance for merchant services in the UK.
Santander believes that the alliance will benefit its corporate and business customers, who, under the new agreement, will gain access to Elavon's and secure international processing platform, which features cross border and multi-currency processing, eliminating the need for pan-European clients to contract with multiple processors, while providing one point of service for all processing and customer support.
Steve Pateman, head of corporate and commercial banking at Santander, said: "Santander aims to become the best commercial bank in the UK.
